Graduated from Utah State University, 2007 Bachelor Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning Minor in Horticulture
For the majority of my life I have enjoyed working in the outdoor landscape. Starting my first lawn business at the age of 14, my knowledge, skills, and appreciation of the landscape field has grown and developed into the company we are today. My time spent at Utah State was a highlight in my desire for being a better Landscape Craftsmen. And my studies in Horticulture have given me a great knowledge base in what plants work and thrive in our local climate.
Besides my interests in the landscape field, I enjoy being a husband and dad of two and seeing them explore and grow up. I call the Millcreek area home.
Graduated from The University of Utah, 2005
B.S. in Biology, emphasis on ecological systems
I have been working in the landscaping field for over 14 years. Beginning with mowing lawns and weeding planting beds. I also have 2 years experience in concrete work and construction. Things have definitely expanded from those humble beginnings! I particularly enjoy Asian style landscapes and evergreen trees. At work I like installing rock walls, pavers, and using our excavator. I enjoy being engaged in the design phase, and using plants that are unique in the landscape (so don’t be surprised if I suggest things that are different!)
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children, travelling, cooking, and spending time in my own yard- which is a never ending project. I live in the 9th and 9th area of Salt Lake City.
Having over a decade of experience, I strive to give attention to detail and to have the landscape look and function the best it can. I enjoy meeting our clients and working with them to achieve their landscape goals and vision.
